JOHN 3:16(KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

SIX STEPS TO LASTING HAPPINESS
AND PEACE WITH GOD:

1. Acknowledge your condition: "For all have sinned (transgressed or broken God's laws) and come short of His glory." (Romans 3:23)

2. Repent; be sorry, turn away from your sin. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted that your sins may be blotted out." (Acts 3:19) God will erase your sins, if you repent.

3. Confess your sins. Say, ‘I have sinned.' "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)

4. Forsake your sin and sinful ways; "Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord...for He will abundantly pardon." (Isaiah 55:7)

5. Believe in Jesus and what He has done. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

6. Receive and accept Him and His word; "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:11-12)

If you follow these six steps, receiving Him by faith and believing in Him, you will be born again. Your receiving prayer may be this... "God, I know I am a sinner and lost without You. I repent, and confess my sin to You, and will forsake my way and follow Yours. I open up my heart for You and receive You, Jesus, as my personal Savior. I now believe you have taken away my sins by Your blood, and I thank You for saving me. Help me Lord, to daily confess You and my experience with You before men. Amen."
